Spamming includes posting your recruiting link in chatrooms, messageboards, forums, instant messages of any form, USENET groups, etc. The only exception to this rule is if the content you are adding is directly related to the topic of discussion at hand AND the moderator of the area in which you are posting your link allows such activity.

Also prohibited is e-mailing of your recruiting link to any people you do not know. Unless you have an existing personal relationship with the recipient of the e-mail or the person has directly requested this e-mail, your e-mail is considered spam.
