Your Fiefdom is a page similar to your Alliance page, but this page is dedicated to your referrals. If you have been refered to the game by another player, they are your Liege Lord. If you have refered others to the game, they are your bannermen. You can see this relationship here. These relationships are critically important to the growth of your Dominion.
Every time a Bannerman produces platinum, ore, lumber, food, gems or mana, their Liege Lord receives a bonus equivalent to 3% of that production. The Bannerman loses nothing in the exchange; the Liege Lord gain is a bonus. Likewise, every time the Liege Lord produces one of those resources, ALL of their Bannermen receive a 3% bonus. These resources can add up to significant amounts, and you may gain up to six bannermen. Also, these referrals are permanent, and will carry on from round to round. Your recruited bannermen will not automatically be part of your alliance...however, it makes the most strategic sense to make them a part of your alliance once they have joined, since your mutual benefits will also then benefit your alliance.
