Is Dominion still free?
   Yes, Dominion is still COMPLETELY FREE. Premium accounts are available for purchase for $7 for players who want to play free of advertisements and with additional features. You can still continue to play for FREE with advertisements if you choose not to pay for a Premium account.

 Why are you offering Premium accounts?
   The ad market is in very bad shape, and Dominion is expensive to run. I have to pay for things like the server and bandwidth, and also my spare time. With the millions upon millions of hits every round, Dominion is not easy or cheap to maintain.

 What do you get with a Premium account?
   After you log into Dominion you will get no more ads inside the game. This means no banners or popups or advertisements of any kind. This lasts for the entire round. You also receive access to several other features: A defense calculator and a Search function. The defense calculator will help you in calculating the defense of another Dominion. The Search function will allow you to specify searches by race, networth and land size to help you find targets more quickly. The statistics advisor will also keep a running tally of all the resources that your produce.

 How much does it cost?
   The cost to play one round (the standard, 7 weeks, from the beginning of the round) completely ad free and with extra premium features is currently just $7 (US). That's just $1 per week.

 Can I purchase a Premium account in the middle of a round?
   Yes, you can. The price for a Premium account is ALWAYS $7 though, regardless of when during the round you sign up for the account. Signing up a Premium account during the course of a round means you will have Premium access only for the current round, and that access ends when the round ends.

 How are you accepting payments?
   Payments will be accepted currently only through Paypal. Paypal is an online service that lets people send money to one another over the internet, using a credit card or existing bank account. It's used by millions upon millions of people, which is one of the reasons why I selected it.

 I don't have a credit card or bank account. How can I pay?
   Right now the only method of payment is by credit card or bank account via Paypal. If you do not have either, you can try asking parents or friends to pay for you using their credit card. In the future we may accept payments in the form of money orders, but because this is the first time we are accepting payments, we are limiting the payment method to Paypal.

 I don't live in the United States. How can I pay?
   Paypal accepts international credit cards, and is available in over 30 countries! To see if your country is on the list, please check the list on their web site.

 What happens if my account is killed or I delete and restart during the round?
   Not a problem. We store the e-mail address you sign up your Premium account with, so if you die or delete your account and want to restart, if you use the same e-mail address to sign up again you will still have Premium access.

 What happens in the event of a server crash?
   If the server goes down due to error, several things may occur. First, if necessary game data is recoverable to continue the round, the server will be fixed and the round will continue from the point the game stopped. All players who had Premium accounts will continue to have Premium access. Second, If the game data is unrecoverable and the round is in the first 5 weeks of play, if a new round begins all people with Premium accounts will get to play a new round with Premium access. Third, if the game data is unrecoverable and the round is in the last 2 weeks of play, the rankings will be recorded at the last point in the game before the crash and the round will be officially over, ending Premium access for all users who had such access.

 Can I purchase a Premium account for someone else?
   Yes. Simply specify when you pay for the account the e-mail address or dominion name used by that person when they signed up for their Dominion account.

 Do you store my credit card on your server?
   No. We do not even know what your credit card information is. Because the transaction is through PayPal, no credit card information is known to us or stored by us.
