There are many reasons why you may not be able to log in. Please read this list of possible reasons. If you have tried everything on this list, please report the problem to the bugs messageboard.

  • First, you might be dead. If you receive an actual error message, such as "Login Failed", it could be because you have been killed. Please check the e-mail from the account you created your Dominion with.

  • Second, you might be using the wrong password. If you get an actual error message, such as "Login Failed", you might be trying to use the wrong password. Registration sometimes eliminates some characters from a password you think you should be using. Please check the e-mail you were sent, and confirm the password you are typing in is indeed the password in the e-mail. The password in the e-mail will be the one that works.

  • Third, you might not have cookies enabled. Even if you think you do, it's quite possible you do not. Please enable cookies and try again. In Internet Explorer, this option is located in Tools/Internet Options/Security. In Netscape, it is located in Edit Preferences.

  • Fourth, you might not have the proper date on your computer. In Windows, you can double click the Time in the lower right hand part of the screen to change it.

  • Lastly, you might be loading a page from your browser cache. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools/Internet Options/Temporary Internet Files/Settings and click 'Every Visit to Page.' Then delete your Temporary Internet Files. In Netscape, it is located in Edit Preferences.
